Tell plays 2008For more than 100 years, the amateur actors from Uri have been interpreting Schiller's famous play «Tell» in a new way, according to the spirit of the age. The performances take place in the Tellspielhaus building in Altdorf, which has been built especially for this purpose. Open to new inspirations, with a keen and attentive understanding for new developments in the world of theatre together with an awareness to the changes in history and much-noticed by an audience with high expectations, the Tell plays in Altdorf master new challenges again and again.
World sensation - giant crystals from the GöscheneralpThe mountain crystals from the Göscheneralp are a worldwide sensation and considered to be unique. Because of the great demand, the exhibition in the old church in Flüelen is prolongated for another 2 years. The exhibition is open both in 2008 and 2009 from the beginning of March until the end of October, daily from 10 am to 6 pm.
