Gottardo hiking trail
It is 125 years old, meanders like a millipede up the Gotthard massif, crawls away into tunnels and crosses the highest railway bridge of Switzerland: the Gotthard railway line - created by humans, surrounded by wild nature. By foot, this impressive construction can be explored from very close. The educational trail leads along the railway lines both on the northern and the southern side of the Gotthard mountain. 70 information panels tell the partly tragic story of this world-famous track. Train after train and step by step well worth seeing!
