Spiringen is the point of departure for excursions up to the sunny alpine pasture Ratzi. In addition, Spiringen has an enclave on the other side of the Klausenpass: Switzerland's most beautiful and most spacious alp, the Urnerboden, lies also within the border of Spiringen's territory.
Spiringen is on the road to the Klausenpass and presents the sunny sides of the Schächen valley both in summer and in winter. The homey atmosphere, the cosy restaurants and the marvellous countryside serve as natural source for peace and relaxation. The old Klausen path runs past scattered mountain homes and invites you for a hike. The museum "Dörfli-Haus" takes a closer look on the history of Spiringen and the Urnerboden and displays magnificent cultural assets.
