Local Information Seedorf

Since 1991, Seedorf possesses its own landing stage for ships, where nostalgic steamships can dock at by request. Likewise, the "Swiss Path" (a hiking trail around the Lake of Uri) has opened in 1991. The part of this walk that leads through Seedorf's territory is understandably called "the section" of the whole loop road, as it guides you along the shores and across the delta of the river Reuss.

The LORELEI Isles
The group of islands in the Lake of Uri has been enriched by three additional islands with the name LORELEI. They form a protecting front for the beach and a belt with calm water. Since they are only accessible by swimming, the islands could retain their uniqueness.
