Where is Walterli?

The dodgy treasure hunt through Uri

Walterli, the son of Wilhelm Tell, ran away with his dog Fridolin. Whereas he should have turned up on time in Altdorf to have the apple shot from his head. The entire Swiss legend is turned on its head. Clever trackers are required to find and follow Walterli's tracks.

William Tell Monument

The William Tell Monument was built by Richard Kissling between 1882 and 1895. It is a popular photo background for tourists as well as for the locals. On the 28th August 1895 the figure of Tell was inaugurated with a large ceremony.

Schiller's Stone

A Mythical Stone

Schiller's Stone is also known as the mythical stone. It protrudes from the water and is a striking boulder about 30 meters high. It is located at the beginning of Lake of Uri and at the southern most basin of the Lake of Lucerne.
